Essentials for a Nantucket Getaway Pt. 1

Nothing compares to waking up at the seaside, and Nantucket is the quintessential New England getaway to do just that! Follow along and I'll share what to wear, where to eat, and what to see.

Taking a break from the business of Boston, I started my journey with the help of the Hy-Line ferry. Upon arrival I stopped at Oath for lunch to indulge in a delicious, yet healthy pizza. I love that they also have gluten-free options! Walking around the wharf can get breezy, so this sailor's sweater from Skinny Dip and fabulous hat I found at Perch made for a classic, seaside look.

Checking into the White Elephant means I'm in for a real treat, because the waterfront views are breathtaking. These cozy rooms were the perfect way to end to a day of adventure around the island. I love to travel with high-quality beauty products, and the Sisley black rose cream mask keeps my skin feeling great!

After I freshened up, it was only common sense that it was time for the beach! Traveling around by bicycle is one of my favorite things to do when I have no schedule. Light linens, a scarf, and an easy shoe style like my Allbirds made it fun to navigate bike paths and sandy walks.

From sunshine to cooling sunsets at dinner, be sure to bring a scarf. I opted for a pop of pink with this one from Isabel Harvey! Time spent on the island isn't complete without a reservation at The Charlie Noble for fun cocktails and the freshest seafood. Be sure to order the clam chowder!

After a day full of food and adventure, I'm ready for a relaxing morning on the beach. I caught the sunrise, walked along the water, and was sure to bring a little warmth as I explored the sights and sounds of beautiful Nantucket. Stay tuned for next week when I continue on with my trip!
