Stepping into Spring with REMY Creations

I had the pleasure of checking out REMY Creations in Boston’s historic Beacon Hill neighborhood this week. Starting with her flagship store on beautiful Nantucket Island, REMY’s eponymous line creates and curates a collection of clothing and accessories that can be worn in the city or at the beach in a variety of vibrant colors, elegant fabrics, and unique designs. Keep reading to see a few of my favorite pieces from this charming local designer!

I have a feeling this Katharine Kidd Lalita dress is going to be on repeat all season long! Trendy, comfortable, and draped to flatter your curves, this dress will take you from brunch with your girls to dinner with your significant other, and everywhere in between. This timeless print and a subtle high-low hem makes this dress an effortless spring staple! I styled it with a leather jacket and matching leather combat-style boots for a look that screams “boss babe.”

During these transitionary periods where we’re in between seasons, it can be difficult to decide on an outfit that’s both fashionable and weather appropriate. My tip: play with proportions! Style a midi skirt with your favorite pair of knee-high boots for an ideal spring look. I fell in love the second I saw the Sheridan French Kelly Maxi at REMY’s boutique in Beacon Hill! This spring is going to be one full of color and bold prints, and this dress is the perfect way to welcome the warmer weather. Made in cotton-lycra fabrics with three tiers to the floor and an extremely flattering elastic bodice, these maxis can be tied a little higher or lower depending on where you want your hem to hit! Throw on your favorite pair of white sneakers and you’re ready to take on the day.
