How To Style A Chic Belt

What Are We Wearing?

Accessories are so much fun to style and are often one of my favorite parts of the process! A really good belt is a subtle and unexpected way to elevate your entire look. Check out my hand-selected options below to bring a little extra polish to your looks.

Classic Belts:

First is a classic belt that can be worn endlessly. I love the versatility of the Triangle Belt by Bottega Veneta. It comes in several colors, like white, almond, navy, and brown, and it can be worn year-round. It looks premium and finishes any outfit, whether wearing it with trousers, jeans, shorts, or over a blazer at the waist. For those asking, this belt will fit through your belt loops. Another option is the iconic YSL signature suede belt.

Wide Belts:

If you have been following me for awhile, you know this wide Valentino belt is a staple in my wardrobe. I love the premium details, but this belt's rich color and flattering cut make it so easy to add to any outfit. I find this silhouette works best with mid-full length skirts, knit dresses, or dresses with an A-line shape or over a wool coat. If your shape is more straight, a wide belt cinched at the waistline is also complementary in that it gives more of an hourglass illusion.

Thin Belts:

I am so happy to see this style trending. Thin belts, especially with beautiful embossing or shiny hardware, are so flattering with trousers and skirts; think for work or office attire. I also love a thin belt over a fitted cardigan. It feels dainty and feminine and adds a dressier vibe to your look.
