My Favorite 4th of July Looks

Is it me, or does this summer feel busier than any other?! With the biggest holiday of the season upon us, I am super excited for a long weekend packed with travel, parties, beach-going, and family activities - but don’t worry, I have pulled some key pieces to complement your plans too!

Giselle Minidress by Derek Lam

This denim, cargo, tie-front mini dress is amazing! It’s so comfortable and beautifully made. The box-pleat pocket details and rolled sleeves give the dress a utilitarian look while still feeling feminine. It’s the perfect piece for almost any event or party. Wear it with your favorite sandal (flats or heels) or a fun, lifestyle sneaker.

The Winnie T-Shirt by Livotte London

This fun and feminine puff sleeve, white tee is the perfect option for the weekend that can work with virtually anything from denim to shorts to skirts. It takes the basic white tee up a few notches with this flirty sleeve, fitted shape, and super soft fabric. I added an oversized aviator by Bottega Veneta for a sporty feel.

AGOLDE White Jeans

A crisp, well-made pair of white jeans make any summer look chic and elevated. AGOLDE has gotten the modern fit and styling right in this case. These high-waisted, straight-leg jeans are ankle length, making them an ideal choice for your holiday plans whether you’re staying local or traveling, casual or dressed up. Add a slide or casual sneaker for a daytime look, and break out your sky-high wedges or a platform sandal for a more glamorous look.

The Bonfire Short by The Great

These shorts encompass all the summer vibes while preserving comfort and style. I love the patchwork design and flattering a-line cut of these shorts, making them an easy choice for a casual summer party. They are also a great travel piece and work seamlessly with a chic tee, tank, or lightweight cable knit sweater. Add some chunky sandals and mixed metal jewelry to finish your look.

Valentino Playsuit and Chain Shoulder Bag

The festive colors of Valentino’s Manifesto Bandana print are in perfect alignment for the holiday weekend with a luscious red, cream, and navy color story. This impeccably tailored knit one-piece is a fabulous transition piece if you’re going from day to night and lightweight enough to keep you comfortable during the warmest summer months. I went with the Valentino neutral bag with chunky chain details to balance the print and colors.

Valentino Cardigan and Roman Stud Shoulder Bag

If your plans include a more luxurious event or getaway, this Valentino cashmere and lurex blend cardigan is a fabulous piece to keep in your rotation. Wear it with denim, wide-leg trousers, or a midi skirt. I paired it with the Valentino signature logo belt, denim shorts, and the Roman Stud shoulder bag in cherry red for a sharp contrast.
