Thanksgiving Attire 23'

What Are We Wearing?

It is hard to believe, but it is officially Thanksgiving week. As we settle into the hectic holiday hustle and bustle, I am reminding you and all of my clients to remember to get dressed! The holidays are a fabulous time to experiment with new trends through color, layers, and accessories. Here are some practical but very stylish ideas for your holiday look.

Not So Structured Blazers

A beautifully made blazer always looks refined and polished. Add your favorite blazer to a form-fitting maxi dress or over a blouse with denim; the possibilities are endless. This Thanksgiving, opt for an unstructured or oversized blazer to add a relaxed fit to your look while giving you a little extra room for dinner.

Denim & Sweaters

A great pair of denim and sweet sweater is a comfy, classic look for your holiday gathering. Pair a wide-leg, relaxed-leg pair of jeans in a medium to dark wash with an opposing-shaped sweater or top. Wear a shorter, fitted sweater or cardigan and a beautiful leather or suede belt if your denim is looser. If you want to wear a tapered or slimmer leg, style a chunky, oversized, textured sweater with a loafer or bootie.

Knit Dresses

A more festive yet comfortable option is a chic sweater or knit dress that is thin and lightweight. Add a knee-high leather boot or heel and a thick pair of tights for added warmth. Top off your look with a tailored coat or oversized scarf draped on your shoulders with a piece of statement jewelry for some cozy-chic vibes.
