Fall Preview 23'

I am getting all the tempting Fall-feels as the weather starts to shift. While we still have sunny days to dress for, I'm putting together looks to help transition your style from Summer into the Fall without overdressing or sacrificing personal style. Start with statement neutrals like a charcoal suit with a minimal or cropped top or a white dress with black accents. The classics are known to be versatile. These pieces and fabrics are a great way to incorporate warm weather-appropriate garments while adding the formal feel of Fall fashion.

Look #1

Black and white is always a good idea. It strikes the perfect balance for transitional pieces, incorporating light and dark, and the pairing looks polished. I wore this strapless dress by Proenza Schouler for a warmer day and added a sleek YSL bag with my favorite black patent Stuart Weitzman platform sandals. This dress is a versatile and very stylish piece to work into your wardrobe and wear with a blazer or motorcycle jacket and style with a heel or bootie. The fit is feminine and flattering and can be dressed up or down, day-to-night, and easily be worn 3 seasons of the year.

Look #2

This suit by Smythe is brand new, and I am obsessed. The fit is incredibly flattering, structured, and wearable for various events. Style the pieces separately by adding denim and a tee to the blazer or a silk blouse or cami with the cuffed trouser. So elegant and sophisticated. I wore a Free People bra top with this suit for a fashion event while the weather was still warmer, and I love how it pulled it together. Complete the look with black booties; mine are Christian Louboutin or a high heel.

Look #3

I love the contrast of this look! This layered top is by STAUD, and it works perfectly with high-rise, wide-leg trousers or jeans. I went with a pair of Mother denim that I found at Anthropologie, a great destination for unique denim and fun separates. Another versatile piece that you will wear at least 3 seasons of the year and get plenty of mileage out of. I wore a pair of black suede Jimmy Choo pumps to elevate the look for another day-to-night option.
