Spring Picks for Menswear

What Are We Wearing?

Spring is (almost) in the air. I have been having so much fun shopping for my male clients and refreshing their wardrobes with new pieces that feel elevated and stylish for everyday wear and weekend casual. Here are some basics I like to start with when I set out on my shopping trips.

Shirts & Polo’s

The classic Polo shirt has come a long way. Updated in new fabrics and an array of colors, a collared polo can be worn to any casual or daytime event. Long-sleeve Polo shirts are great transitional pieces for the current weather patterns and will prove versatile as temperatures go up and down over the next few weeks.

Chino’s & Cargo’s

Chino’s can be dressed up or down, another versatile piece, available in many colors ways and comfortable enough to wear all weekend long. I recommend getting 2-3 pairs to start and keep them in your rotation. Cargo pants are big for Spring, and these modern utilitarian-style slacks are soft and very comfy - perfect for weekends on the sidelines or if you’re traveling.

Shoes & Sneakers

A sporty, masculine, yet very stylish sneaker for Spring/Summer, it is easy to style and looks cool on everybody. Realtor-inspired athletic styles from Saucony and New Balance are always in style and approachable options for the guy who wants to update his look without feeling too trendy. These quiet luxury loafers from Lora Piana are elegant and sleek and perfect for warmer days when you want something a little more formal but still very comfortable—I love the icy blue tones for this Spring.
