Spring Finds
With so many fresh and exciting trends to choose from this Spring, it can sometimes feel overwhelming to figure out what to wear! But don't worry; I have been working through lots of unique and interesting looks for the season, and I even pulled a few pieces to share with you on this week's blog. Whether you're dressing for the office, leisure, travel, or a party, I've got all the must-have pieces to work into your plans that you can wear on repeat.
Cool & Casual
Reds of all shades have been hot for months. Red is an incredible statement color, and it can also be styled as a neutral color with things like denim, black, or white separates. I styled these red cargo trousers by Daniela Corte, a local designer, for several occasions, and I love the high-rise and wide-leg shape of these cargo pants. The drape of the fabric feels formal and strong, while the pockets give the pants a sporty look, making them highly versatile. I styled this look by working with the proportions of the high-rise pants with a cropped polo shirt, a fav of mine by A.L.C., and a long black blazer by Alexander McQueen.
Denim On Denim
When it comes to denim, my friends at Injeanius always have the latest and most fashionable brands, some of which might be new to you! One of my favorite pieces is this denim trench coat, a playful twist on a timeless classic. Spring/Summer is the season for white jeans, and I adore how the wider leg pairs with a fitted blazer or vest and a pair of pumps. Denim on denim, or the Canadian tuxedo, creates a relaxed, effortless vibe that's perfect for weekend plans or if you're on the go but still want to look polished.
Chic & Elegant
I bought this dress for my recent trip to Paris and can't get enough of it. This gorgeous ivory Jonathon Simkhai dress is the perfect all-season dress. The balloon skirt gives just enough volume and shape without being too formal or over the top. I styled this beauty with my favorite Stuart Weitzman patent leather platform sandals and a classic black Chanel necklace. Wear this dress to dinner, an event, or a party with a white heel or strappy colorful sandal for a little pop. This piece is sure to make the cut for any plans you have coming up this year and beyond.
