Madeleine's Daughter

The wedding process has evolved so much since I had my own, so I partnered with Madeleine’s Daughter to see what their pampered experience is all about! The bridal salon is in Portsmouth, NH and you’re transported to curated luxury from the moment you step inside. Their salon is award winning and houses the most extensive dress collection in New England. I played dress up with my wonderful stylist, Erika, and relived the magical moment of finding the dress!

You immediately walk into a large salon that’s so bright and airy, it compliments the bride-to-be as the center of attention perfectly. They have numerous private rooms that all lead to the main area with cozy seating for your party and endless accessory options. I’ve always been drawn to simple, sexy silhouettes for wedding dresses, and before I knew it Erika had spot-on options pulled! From the champagne to the detailed discussion of my preferences, I felt immediately welcomed by their amazing staff.

There are a few key dresses in the front of the salon, but the majority aren’t on racks I can browse; which in this case I was grateful for! I remember how overwhelming this process can be, and Madeleine’s Daughter does a fabulous job on keeping the focus of the client happy and light. My first few dresses were from designers like Anne Barge, Martina Liana, Allure, and Hayley Paige. I loved certain elements of them all, but knew I hadn’t found the winner quite yet!

The accessories are almost as important as the dress, and I loved the modern and vintage touches on the jeweled pieces. The staff truly takes time to understand what you’re looking for with your wedding, and they will seamlessly narrow down options based on price and style that is fit for every bride. When you choose to invest your experience with Madeleine’s Daughter, take advantage of their tux rental, bridesmaid dresses, and beautiful selection of mother’s dresses at 10% off.

I waited until the end to try this Paloma Blanca gown on, and I’m glad saved the best for last! The simple cut with lace bodice is exactly what I would want, and the slit is perfect for dancing the night away in a style I can truly groove in. Erika added the finishing touches with a veil and simple pearl-drop earrings; I was instantly in love. I have no doubt that you will find the dress and have your Madeleine’s Daughter moment when you make your appointment here!
