Downtown Newburyport
When the weather starts to change, it makes me want to slow down and explore. Downtown Newburyport is a great option for those in the greater Boston area to check out. The brick facade and small boutique feel has me ready to shop for great fall pieces. The mix of businesses make it easy to spend a great day exploring this quaint coastal New England town.
Even in your everyday look, make it a point to mix up neutrals this season. A cozy navy paired with shades of brown and tan are a combination to give me a laid back look. In the morning sun, I headed for a pick-me-up tea to get ready for a day of shopping and exploring.
With the new Roots stores in the Boston area, their iconic salt & pepper Boston hoodie is a favorite. These heeled boots are ready to take on the day; they’re my current obsession! The alleys and streets of Newburyport are filled with niche businesses, make sure to keep your eyes peeled so you don’t miss anything.
The main street is home to businesses like the Nauti Pearl and SOAK & Shoreline. With a laid back, coastal vibe the Nauti pearl has a fabulous mix of pieces to wear and decorate with. I found great pieces from Nic + Zoe and Parker Smith denim to style. It’s hard to pass by the racks outside, these boutiques carry a great mix of clothing!
