Dockside Getaway
Labor Day Weekend has come and gone, but I still want to squeeze out the last part of this summer mindset. Newburyport is an easy getaway in the Boston area, it's filled with shops, restaurants.. and houseboats! These are my style picks for one last sunny vacation.
Sweatsuits, move over! Put a dress like this one on your packing list because it's the same feel as a sweatshirt. I love that I can dress it up to do more than just lounge. I threw on a pair of sneakers and added a pop of color for a chic, versatile travel look to head up to Newburyport.
Hotels, inns, bed & breakfasts, Airbnbs.. I've done them all! When I discovered staying on a houseboat was an option, I had to check it out. It's the perfect space to hang outside and rock with the waves off a private dock. Whether I'm in the sun or shade, a light and airy jumpsuit from Bobbles & Lace is my go-to look for a getaway.
The houseboat has a lounge spot perfect for everyone, including a great loft space I know my family would love! Cozying up for a night on the water has me bundling up in a chic printed pj set and Barefoot Dreams hoodie. There's no true way to describe how buttery soft these pieces are from SOAK & Shoreline.
For a transitional, seaside vibe I paired a sheer floral top with my signature pair of jeans! Since it's still warm enough, wear those sandals and peep toe shoes as long as you can. Neutral accessories like this classic tan Prada bag and fun straw hat finish off the look.
