Fall 2020 Lookbook
And just like that, fall has arrived in Boston! Can you believe we’re already nearing the end of September? Have no fear, with every new season comes new fashion, and Fall 2020 is no exception. I thought I’d shake it up this week and create my own lookbook so you can draw up some inspiration for the cooler months ahead. Keep scrolling to see the looks I curated!
Can you tell I love a good black and white outfit? If you’re looking for a sophisticated outfit on the fly, grab your favorite pair of jeans (like these from Hidden Jeans), toss on a fitted white T and a tailored blazer, and accessorize with your favorite black boots. My favorite pairs right now are from Isabel Marant and Ferragamo.
When it comes to fall fashion, I love playing around with new textures, colors, and silhouettes. Culottes have been around for years now, but Longchamp has made them chic again, as you can see in the top right photo. Pair with one of their crossbody bags and a sleek button up (like the one I’m wearing in the bottom left) and you’re ready to take on the day - or night!
Another trend I’m loving is animal print sweatshirts, like this metallic snakeskin puff-sleeve top from Twenty20 Boutique, which I paired with a midi leather skirt and Isabel Marant boots. It’s amazing how one statement piece can elevate an entire outfit!
Which black and white look is your go-to vibe?
The great thing about transitioning to fall is being able to get creative with your outfits: shorts with a long sleeve shirt? Acceptable. A sleeveless sweater with cuffed jeans? Very acceptable, especially when the sweater is a beautifully made Longchamp from their F/W 2020 Runway Collection. Accessorized with their stunning cognac knee-high boots, I feel ready for autumn weather!
For date night by the water, I wanted to showcase a gorgeous gold and black moment featuring this black button-up from Pirouette and silk wrap skirt from Vince. It’s the perfect look for a sophisticated dinner with a loved one! If you’re looking for something more casual, check out the top middle photo and bottom left photo. The mid-length baby blue Calvin Klein jacket adds a fun 70’s vibe to any outfit, while these iconic snakeskin Brother Vellies boots effortlessly take your look from simple and understated to sexy and edgy.
I hope you loved this lookbook as much as I loved putting it together! Let’s get creative and push our fashion boundaries this season, who’s with me?
Thank you Hidden Jeans, Isabel Marant, Ferragamo, Longchamp, Twenty20 Boutique, Pirouette, Vince, Calvin Klein, and Brother Vellies!
