Tara's Guide to Spring 2021 Fashion

Spring is officially here, and if you’re anything like me you’re itching to bring out your warm weather outfits and rock your favorite seasonal looks! Now that the sun is gracing us with its presence, it’s time to dress up and experiment with the newest trends. This week on the blog, I’m highlighting a few of my favorite trends for spring, keep scrolling to see how I style them:

Hello, neon! Can you tell I’m not afraid of a bold statement piece? This stunning Tanya Taylor dress from Gretta Luxe in Wellesley, MA is the perfect spring look. I threw on a bright pink structured jacket and white leather boots for an outfit that can easily transition from daytime to nighttime. Want to keep it casual? Pair it with a jean jacket and your favorite white sneakers for a look that’s both comfortable yet effortlessly stylish.

This spring, I’m all about monochrome looks that feature pops of color. From my Bottega Veneta mesh pumps to my sleeveless Akris double peplum jacket and cropped trousers, I’m embracing nude tones while creating a look that’s simple to accessorize! This printed geometric crossbody is the perfect size to tote your belongings without weighing you down, and adds a fun pop to any outfit.

It’s not a spring look without a floral print, and Christy Lynn Collection is the queen of iconic florals! Above, you’ll see how I styled two of her pieces with the same Bottega Veneta accessories. What I love about the Juliette dress is that it can be styled as a high neck or worn open as a v-neck. Belted or unbelted, this flowy dress is the perfect spring piece to dress up or down. The Diandra short has a high waisted and delicate A-line style that adds a feminine touch to any outfit, and you can style it with their Aurelie Blouse for a romper look!

This spring, I’m going back to the basics: can you get any more classic than a pair of DL1961 jeans and a white button-up blouse? The perfect outfit for running errands, all you need is a comfortable pair of pumps and a tote like this one from Akris, and you’re ready for whatever the day has in store for you! How would you style this classic spring combination?

Another favorite color combination for spring 2021: khaki and hunter green! This Stella McCartney jacket from Gretta Luxe is so major: because it has a more structured and formal vibe, I paired it with these casual jogger-style pants from Veronica Beard for a look that’s tailored yet comfortable. This spring, I’m looking forward to playing with different color combos and stepping outside of my fashion comfort zone! Who’s with me?
