Spring Favorites
Spring has sprung! And we are being flooded with many gorgeous trends this season, all of which I can't wait to wear! I spent some time in Copley Place last week shopping for clients (and myself) - here are a few of my favorite picks for Spring 23'.
Dripping In Dior
I spent some time at the opulent and ever-gorgeous Dior store at the Copley Place Mall, enjoying the stunning pieces from the Spring-Summer 2023 collection. This collection is about glamour that meets modernity. I pulled this stunning flare dress modeled after a couture silhouette. The embroidered fabric, coupled with the flounced flare skirt, creates a playfulness yet allows you to dress it up or down. I opted for a formal look with the Aime pump, an updated variation of the Mary Jane we all know and love but with an edge. The baroque era influenced this shoe, and it pairs beautifully with white tights, skirts, denim, and bootcut trousers - or even tuxedo pants. The cherry on top of this look is the red and black Lady D-Lite bag, and wow, what a bag! This highly-coveted accessory is embroidered and comes with the signature DIOR charms and an interchangeable shoulder strap; this timeless collectible can be worn by hand or crossbody.
Chic Classics
I am loving this abstract floral power suit by Smythe. This jacquard cutaway two-piece is a show stopper and an excellent choice for daytime events, from business casual to more formal. The pieces look fabulous styled separately as well - wear the blazer with skinny denim or a neutral-toned cargo pant and opt for a little white tee with the trouser for a sporty look. I styled my look with a classic Tod's Shopper in yellow for the ultimate sophistication - I love the color combo of true blue and an ochre. Tod's bags are made with the highest quality standards and add the chicest accent to any look, a wise investment that you will wear for many years.
Daytime Elegance
This ruched shirt dress by STAUD is a must-have this Spring for every closet. I love this dress because it is an effortless piece that looks dressed up. Add a cardigan, or structured blazer, or style it down with a pair of your favorite flats. I opted for a cable-knit sweater, my favorite nude pumps, and a vintage layered Chanel necklace. Please message me at tara@tarawestfashion.com for sourcing info on the Chanel necklace or any fabulous pieces you're eyeing!
Ready To Wear, Anywhere
This outfit combines a relaxed weekend vibe with this embellished denim jacket by L'Agence paired with a Proenza Schouler midi skirt and black Gianvitto Rossi pumps. I would wear this to cocktails with friends, a casual dinner with friends, or an impromptu date night. It feels elevated but still approachable with the denim jacket and cozy tee. This skirt is a great piece to have on rotation to wear with knee-high boots, a warm turtleneck, or a tailored blazer. And the jacket would work perfectly with leather pants or over an athleisure outfit with leggings and an oversized tee with Birkenstocks.
