Celebrating Valentine’s Day With Rails

I'm celebrating Valentine's Day with some sweet separates from the Rails. I like to swing by the Rails store on Newbury Street when I want to add a piece that feels interesting yet classic, feminine, and elegant. Here are a few pieces I went with for my plans, plus different ways to wear them beyond V-day.

Casual & Flirty

This puff sleeve Janae shirt with eyelet heart details is light and chic. I love this top with a pair of jeans like the Getty wide-leg denim; it looks classic and fun without being too playful. I'd also opt for an ankle-length pair of casual pants with a fashion sneaker for a cute daytime look. Style this poplin shirt with white denim and a pair of wedges for the perfect summery look.

Sweet & Sexy

I am obsessed with this shade of magenta in the Taysia cami top and matching Maya skirt. This shade of pink is perfect for anything you have planned for Valentine's Day. You can wear these pieces together for a uniform look or style them separately. The Taysia cami is the perfect "pop" piece in your wardrobe for an all-black or all-white suit ensemble or if you want to spruce up a denim look. For the Maya skirt, balance the brightness with a soft or neutral tone like cream or grey, or style it with a beautiful contrast of a white or black top or jacket with the skirt.

In Love with Leather

Leather pieces are my favorite to style when I work with clients. Whether vegan or authentic, leather immediately elevates any outfit and gives it that touch of edge we all love. The Norma patent leather midi skirt is faux, but you'd never know it. The quality and fit are superb, sitting right at the waist, and the cut flatters all body types. Style this piece with a sexy pair of black pumps or boots and your favorite blouse, cami, or cropped sweater if you want to add texture.
