Leather Looks
What Are We Wearing?
Most people don't think of leather for their Spring/Summer wardrobe. But I am here to show you several options and ways to incorporate natural and faux leather into your warm-weather looks.
A chic leather skirt is a showstopper. I love an A-line cut or a high-waisted leather skirt for a throwback look. These skirts aren't heavy at all and can be styled effortlessly with cotton tees, button-down dress shirts, or lightweight fine knits. It's a great textile for a day-to-night look or when you want to add some edge to your look.
The preppy aesthetic is not going anywhere, and I am here for it. These super stylish, tailored leather shorts are giving us all the vibes with a pair of loafers and socks or a ballet flat. Add a layered cardigan set on top or a collared shirt under a chic sweater or a sleeveless tank for a refined take. If the weather isn't cooperating, try adding a pair of tights with your shorts for an added layer of warmth. If you want a more formal feel, style them with your favorite pair of pumps or heeled sandals.
Leather pants are always a good idea. They feel and look sexy and rich and are flattering on all figures. I am loving all the different color options available for leather pants, as well as tailored details like pleats, darts, piping, cuffs, and various leg shapes and rises. Leather pants, for the most part, are a timeless piece that can be worn again and again. Think of everything from sweaters to blouses, blazers, and cami's. Invest in a pair that fits your body perfectly, a pair that makes you feel good, and be sure to go with a style that looks good with different types of shoes, like flats, loafers, heels, boots, and sneakers - this will ensure you will get the most wear out of them as possible.
