Blush Crush: 3 Chic Ways to Style and Wear the Color Blush for Spring

What Are We Wearing?

Depending on where you are, there might be snow on the ground, but my clients and I are ready for some Spring fashion inspiration. The prominence of Blush and pink tones caught my eye during NYFW last September and I am ready to start getting creative with it. Blush is a timeless, sophisticated color that seamlessly transitions between seasons. This soft, muted version of pink offers endless styling possibilities, from romantic and feminine to edgy and modern. Whether you're incorporating Blush into your wardrobe for a casual brunch, a workday ensemble, or a night out, here are three chic ways to style it today.

Soft & Chic
Blush can be styled in so many ways and worn for any occasion. Once classic take is a soft, feminine, and chic approach to styling this lovely color. Opt for a cute, blush toned sweater with a ruffle or puffed sleeve for a soft element and style it with refined cargo pants in a muted earth tone like olive or khaki. Finish with gold hardware via your accessories and you have a chic, on trend look that's both comfortable and versatile enough to wear from day to night.

Sweet Greens
Pink and green make for a match made in heaven, believe it or not. I went with a blush overcoat on top of this Kelly green mini dress by Acler for Spring forward feel that’s flirty and fun. I pulled the look together with a floral printed heel that I know I will be able to get a lot of miles out of but you can also opt for white, ivory or nude shoes.

Casual Elegance
I always like to include a denim look because I love to see the versatility in these trends. For an everyday look, opt for light-washed jeans, maybe a barrel leg shape or wide leg for added elegance, and style your denim with a blush toned blazer with matching layer underneath. Add some texture with a neutral snakeskin belt and black platform loafers to elevate the look while making a strong statement. This pairing of a trending color like blush mixed with neutral elements like denim and snakeskin makes the color feel more approachable if it is a newer hue for you.
