Valentine's Day Looks & Inspo Continued...

Valentine's Day is the perfect excuse to dress up a casual look or go all out. For this week's amorous holiday, I decided to add a few more looks to my repertoire and focus on three core themes: casual, elegant, and festive.
Casual & Chic
Denim is usually marked for a more casual look, but these wide-leg Harper jeans from Alice + Olivia take things up several levels. Look effortlessly stylish in these leg-lengthening jeans styled with a cropped jacket like this tweed puff sleeve jacket by L'Agence or a cozy cardi to balance the shape. I like to layer for these snowy days, but if you're lucky enough to be in a warmer climate, you can opt for a cami or tank under a statement jacket. Complete the look with a blush-toned high heel, red, hot pink, or beige platforms for a feminine finish.
Elegant & Timeless
I was fortunate enough to attend the Michael Kors Collection fashion show last week, and boy, was I inspired! I pulled these white sequin slouch trousers from the Michael Kors Collection, and they are everything I wanted and more. With a beautifully silky, satin finish, you can style these all year round, from NYE celebrations to summer events and beyond. I went with a sleek, tonal blouse with these pants to keep it elegant and sleek. Finish with a black heel or blazer and a red mani for a sexy take.
Festive & Fun
A slinky, red midi slip skirt or dress is THE quintessential piece for a romantic night out. Style it with a mini black fur coat and black suede or leather boots for a super sultry look. Or add a red sweater on top with gold jewelry and black tights with patent leather heels to create a true sweetheart vibe. This look is fun and festive without sacrificing comfort for whatever your plans may be.
