Day or Night Looks for Valentine’s Day

What Are We Wearing?

Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to step out in a look that makes a sexy, flirty, or high-fashion statement. Maybe you have plans for a romantic dinner or a chic rooftop soirée. Whatever is on the agenda, dressing to impress is the theme. Here are three fashion-forward outfit ideas that will be sure to turn heads.

Modern & Romantic
Channel classic romance with a contemporary twist. This silky sweetheart dress in a rich red hue makes a classic statement for V-Day, but adds a structured blazer with embellishments and fun details to give it some dimension. Opt for a dress of your choice and pair it with tights and a great structured jacket to emulate the look. Finish with your favorite heels, preferably in a tonal color, simple gold jewelry, and a black clutch, and you’re ready for a memorable night out.

Soft & Chic
I like a sophisticated pair of jeans for a more casual but still soft and feminine look. This means they fit more like trousers but still achieve that chic denim look. A Ballet pink sweater with a deep red leather jacket is a great pairing that feels high fashion and festive. Finish with a sky-high pair of heels and sparkly jewels, and you are ready for wherever the night takes you.

Edgy Allure
Embrace an edgier energy with a fashion-forward look like these coated black pants with a bootcut shape, fitted red hot blazer, and lace detailed blouse. This is a play on my favorite uniform, the denim, blouse, and blazer look - but taken up a few notches with the sleek black pant, which is great for any evening event, a slightly daring blouse that is perfect for a date night, or “Galentine’s” social outing, and this Cherry red peak lapel blazer with pumps and a clutch for sharp, sophisticated finish.
