48 Hours In Paris

I ventured to Paris last weekend for a quick getaway and a dose of decadence and style inspiration. I enjoyed fabulous meals, strolled the picturesque streets, and sipped wine while donning the chicest new pieces for the season. Read on for my favorite hotel, top picks for restaurants, and how I styled my looks.

What I Wore:

One of my favorite things about Paris is you don't need an occasion to wear something extravagant. The city invites all forms of style, and there's no such thing as being overdressed when you're here. I styled my favorite white suit by Smythe for some daytime perusing. This suit with the longer blazer is cut so sharp it truly accentuates your figure in the best way. The matching pant is a higher rise with a wide leg and long inseam to elongate the leg; pair this with a black platform or spike heel for an elegant day-to-night look. France was the perfect opportunity to wear the Leighton ball skirt by Sachin & Babi. This skirt made me feel so beautiful with the gorgeous pink color and full shape; I highly recommend this piece for extra special occasions. You can also dress this piece down with a tee or crew neck sweater to create more versatility. For an elevated night out, I wore a navy strapless feather-adorned top from StylePic with black trousers and my favorite YSL clutch - this also works as the perfect look for NYE.

Where I Shopped:

I made my way to a few shops and stopped by the Kith store for some edgy streetwear inspo followed by Ralph Lauren to see the festive holiday windows and opulent ready-to-wear collection. Finally, I saved the best for last and hit the Celine, Dior, and Prada stores to get my luxe-goods fix. All the bags, shoes, and belts were gorgeous and beautifully displayed in the boutiques.

Where I Ate:

Let's discuss amazing cuisine! While there are countless restaurants to visit in Paris, a few that stood out to me over the years for the most memorable atmosphere and spectacular food and wine are Les Deux Magots and Le Train Bleu for lunch and Pavyllon Paris and Maison Russe for dinner. The menus offer many options for meals and dietary needs as well as the finest wine lists and homemade cocktails you could ever ask for.

Where I Stayed:

We stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel, George V located in the Golden Triangle of Paris, near the historic Champs-Elysees. This hotel is well worth the splurge as it offers the most stunning views of the Eiffel Tower, a brand-new spa and swimming pool, and is home to a few of the world-renowned Michelin-starred restaurants in France.
