3 Versatile Trends For Fall

The leaves have barely changed, yet the fall fashion season has begun. There are so many fantastic pieces from the top designers right now, making it hard to narrow down to just a few, but I pulled some great staples that will add a lot of mileage to your wardrobe.

Leather Skirts

Leather is a beautiful textile and one of my favorites because it is so versatile. It can transform any look - creating an edgy, sexy aesthetic or being elegant and understated. Whether you opt for genuine leather or a great vegan option, it is a closet staple. This skirt is by Akris, a Swedish namesake brand known for its luxurious designs. You can pair it with knee or thigh-high boots, and it will work with almost any color. Think black, rich browns, ivory, and burgundy. I chose a lightweight but sumptuous turtleneck sweater, another Akris fav, for a more curve-hugging silhouette. Then, I went with a baby soft Brunello Cucinelli dolman sleeve printed sweater to warm up this look. I would save the heavier pieces for when the temps start to drop. Finally, I styled a sleeveless collared top by Frame for an elevated vibe. Great leather pieces can make for a long-lasting investment because they are made well and can last years. The Shirt Dress

This Lafayette 148 Shirt Dress has been getting so much love on social. A beautifully designed shirt dress can be a fun and very versatile piece to have in your repertoire. I wanted to give this dress a pop, so I added a thick Dior corset belt with gold hardware and my favorite thigh-hi suede boots from Stuart Weitzman. This fit is a sharp look for any Fall festivities you have going on. Also, consider styling it with chic loafers, a cashmere sweater draped over your shoulder, or an oversized blazer. This piece sits comfortably at tunic length, so it can also be worn with leather leggings, thick tights, or skinny jeans, making it adaptable to whatever you're up to. Take your regular size for my dress or find additional options here: Fendi, JCrew, OW Collection and corset more belts Banana Republic, Raina, Altuzarra, and Alexander McQueen.

Textured Suiting

We haven't seen much emphasis on suiting in a while, so I am excited to show you this get-up from Cinq a Sept. Made with careful attention to detail, this suit starts with a gorgeous fabric in slate grey with two utility style pockets. The blazer is cut for the feminine physique with subtle peak lapels and a single button closure, accentuating the waistline. The matching trouser has a higher rise and front slits at the hem to add length to your legs. Take your regular size in both pieces. I added a blush-toned Vince cami and sky-high killer pumps by Jimmy Choo with this power suit. You can also wear a platform heel, sock bootie, or a suede loafer.
