Intro to Spring with Saks

It may be January, but Spring fashion is in the air. I stopped by Saks on a recent shopping trip and picked up a few pieces I could not live without! Saks is always at the forefront of fashion and offers a broad selection of designers and newness that speaks to a range of customers and their unique styles, perfect for my clients and projects. Saks is the destination if you are ready for a spring refresh for your closet. Here are a few pieces I found, plus links to additional styles that I am loving so far.

Cargo Pants

Reimagined cargo-style pants in fresh colors, cut in premium fabrics like silk, satin, and linen, bring on an array of new ideas and style inspiration. I fell in love with these white satin Parker cargo pants. The fit is elegant, and the fabric is luxurious, comfortable, soft, and flattering for days. The elongated leg in the wide silhouette creates a sleek shape, and the versatility makes these pants a beautiful option for any daytime events, brunch, Springtime parties, and even workwear. Style your favorite pair with a white or neutral-toned heel for a daytime look with a cardigan or blazer. I also love a classic tee with a denim jacket and a fashion sneaker for a casual, chic look.

Cropped Knits

The cropped trend has proven its staying power through blazers, sweaters, tees, and beyond. Though many people think of a bare tummy when they think of a "cropped top," it doesn't have to be revealing. This variation is advantageous when styling someone with a shorter torso or if they prefer high-waisted pants because it accentuates the waistline, creating a beautiful shape. With a well-made and designed cropped sweater or cardigan, you don't run into the tucking issue, which makes getting dressed much easier and cleaner. I love this cut in a designer sweater or blazer because the fabric holds its shape, looks feminine, and feels fabulous.
